The Road to 180 has helped me gain speed. My clubhead speed is up. I can now hit 120mph+ in every speed training without as much work as it used to take. And based on last weeks poll it sounds like a lot of you are as well. BUT... I wasn't hitting it that much farther. Just a few weeks ago I fixed that. This is the most eye opening driver fitting you've ever seen. Big thanks to the folks at TPT Golf who helped make this video with Jon happen! 📖❌ Higher than 1.5 smash factor?!I just got over 180 ball speed for the first time!! I was pumped. But something seemed wrong. I had a 1.51 and 1.52 smash factor on those shots. And when I posted a video on Twitter some people called me out on those numbers. That doesn't make sense?! It didn't make sense to me either so I had immediately reached out to Nick over at Skytrak to try and understand what's happening here. And it's totally logical. The toe of the driver is moving faster than the center and heel of the club. A launch monitor has to chose what it's measuring... And it's pretty obvious they'd measure the center of that club. However the ball speed is going to be accurate. This type of hit will leave you scratching your head trying to figure out why you have a 1.51 or 1.52 smash factor.

I truly believe the stuff in this week's episode is going to DRAMATICALLY help your swing. It's with a coach we haven't seen on the channel in 7+years?! And one of my favorite guys to hang out with. If you're like me you're going to be trying these practical drills while your watching along with the video. Don't miss it! People ask me for golf advice all the time. And I usually end up sharing a lot of the same stuff... everything I've picked up from these great coaches over the years. So I finally wrote it all down. I desperately wish I'd had this list when I was a junior golfer trying to play competitively. *plus at the end of this email I explain a new podcast series you're going to love. 😁 In this issue: Wind is a number changer, not a club changer. Here's the math. Most practice swings are useless. What...
I did not clearly understand the fundamentals of a good stock chip shot. Not sure why I had never learned this but it's been INCREDIBLY helpful. Ralph Bauer fixed that in about ten minutes. Let's get into it. In this issue: One setup tweak, way better contact on chips. 52 days out and I finally learned how to run. Jake Knapp hits every PXG iron (the sole design part was interesting) Keith Mitchell's practice round, and why he never putts par putts SPONSORED CONTENT I made this book for you!...
